Replaces 58 watts

When changing from fluorescent tubes to LED ones, it's important to check the length of your current tube as well as its wattage. While the length needs to be the same, the wattage will be different. That's because LED tubes are far more efficient and produce the same amount of light using less power. This LED tube only uses 23 watts of power to replace a fluorescent tube that uses 58 watts, for instance.

The Osram SubstiTUBE Advanced UO UN LED tubes are universal which means they work with (G13) fixtures that have electronic ballasts as well as ones that have conventional ballasts. Fixtures with conventional ballasts also require a starter and one is included with this tube.
